Your hosts

Lina

Hi there, I'm Lina your host at Mustang B&B. Originally from a wheat and sheep farm in Kojonup, a tiny dot on the map of rural Western Australia, a series of very fortunate events have led me to Revelstoke. Leaving behind the big city rat race in 2015, I have been at the B&B since January 2017 and have loved being able to return to the small town life and pursue my passions for cooking, gardening and getting travel tips from my guests. In summer you can usually find me in the veggie garden or raiding the raspberry patch when I'm not out and about exploring in the mountains, or enjoying a glass of wine with the girls and our guests around the fireplace in winter. Together with my team of 'Mustang Sallys', we look forward to hosting you at Mustang B&B!

Andrea

Hi, I'm Andrea and I love Canada in it's entirety! I'm from the east (Newfoundland), have lived in the middle (Ontario) and now, have rooted myself here in Revelstoke; the west. British Columbia is stunning and the treasures among the nature will have you addicted in no time. I came for the culture of balance - both grounded in nature and free with adventure. I love connecting and thus, can't wait to meet you all! See you soon at my favourite (haunted?) house in Revy!

Mia

Hola! My name is Mia, I'm 22 years old and... surprise surprise I'm also from Australia. Melbourne to be more precise. I'm a fun loving and spontaneous person, taking every opportunity as it comes - keeping myself on my toes making every day exciting! I've found an unstoppable love of travel since first leaving home in 2015. In fact I'm currently writing this blurb from the Bolivian jungle over a splendid glass of vino tinto! I've been exploring South America after spending the last two and a half years in Canada and can't wait to return to Revelstoke to help you enjoy your winter holiday this season! This year will be my first full season living in Revy after hearing nothing but praises from friends and experiencing its incredible terrain on previous winter trips myself. I'm just as excited as you to enjoy all this beautiful town and mountain has to offer and can't wait for the infamous pow to start falling. Vamos chicas.

Phoebe

Coming from a city close to Melbourne, Australia, I moved up to the Canadian mountains in 2015 to indulge a love of travel and snowboarding. However I’ve found myself "Revelstuck" for the last year in this wonderful town, with the laidback lifestyle and endless opportunity for adventure.

Our philosophy

Our goal is to provide the most enjoyable Revelstoke experience, while offering a unique and comfortable place to stay.

Our History

The Holton Family

Charles Holten came to Revelstoke around 1885, and was one of the first to investigate mining prospects in the Lardeau region south of Revelstoke (around Trout Lake, Ferguson, and that area.)

He and his partner Thomas Downs located the Silver Cup mine, one of the most successful in the region. They sold it for a nice bundle and both settled in Revelstoke.

The Holtens became the elite of Revelstoke society

Location

We are perfectly situated in the heart of Revelstoke’s historic downtown district. We are within a short stroll to local restaurants, pubs, coffee shops, entertainment, shopping and museums, as well as a number of scenic walks around the Revelstoke townsite, including the river foreshore. We are a short drive to the Golf Club & Revelstoke Mountain Resort, home in summer to the Pipe Mountain Coaster.

The closest airport to Revelstoke is Kelowna International, which is approximately a 2 hour drive. Alternatively, Calgary’s International airport is approximately a 4 hour drive.

Revelstoke is a wonderful stop when travelling between the Okanagan and British Columbia’s West Coast to Alberta’s Rocky Mountains. There are many great locally owned shops and restaurants as well as friendly hospitality. It’s a majestic mountain town surrounded by rugged peaks and lush valleys.

This was a gem of a find! Quaint and interesting, and just a little bit Victorian Parlour. Breakfast was huge and completely delicious. The trains are a bit noisy if you are at the front of the house, but we were fine with that. I...
